Zara: Tell me about yourself?
Pythagoras: Well, as you may know I was born in Greece at Samos in the year 571 BC. (Exact date unknown). I was a scientist, mathematician and religious teacher. I left Greece as the Samos were taking over and I went to live in Egypt. During my time in Egypt I increased my knowledge and education. I specialised in both mathematics and geometry. After a long period of time I went back to Greece and I created my own school called Semicircle.
Zara: That's amazing! What do you feel most proud of in your life?
Pythagoras: Thanks! I definitely admired and was proud of my mathematics career. ‘The Pythagoras Theorem.' You know a2+b2= c2.
Zara: Yeah the mathematics formula, that definitely was admiring! Anyway, who inspired you to pursue you career?
Pythagoras: My mentors or my inspiration were three individuals by the name of Thales, Pherekydes and Anaximander.
Zara: Awesome, what were some of you hobbies?
Pythagoras: I found triangles very interesting, science was always enjoyable and discovering things expanded my curiosity. These were definitely my hobbies.
Zara: Yeah, I agree expanding your curiosity and learning new things really brings you happiness.
Pythagoras: Sure does!
Zara: Thanks for answering my questions, I really appreciate it, Pythagoras.
