Primary Sources
Armor, Hoplons (shield), Phalanxes (spears). These are all examples of Primary sources as they are weapons. They were created as military tools to help the Greeks defeat or defend their country in wars or invasions. They were very useful as the Greeks defended their country honourably by using these primary sources. By using these sources the Greeks created a positive future for themselves and defeated many countries, accomplishing their conquests. These primary sources represent the knowledge Greeks possessed. |
Secondary Sources
Different documents such as the Yale Law School’s Avalon Project and the Encyclopedia Mythica. These are all examples of Secondary sources. The Yale Law School’s Avalon Project is used in Law and Diplomacy. This project was based on real and factual information. They were important in the year 400BC. The Encyclopedia Mythica is an online encyclopedia that states the myths and folks about Ancient Greece. It had to do with the Greek's beliefs and what the Greeks thought occurred in a factual incident. These represent the Greek's beliefs and laws. |
